Honda’s 2018 CBR500R available in three new colours
The 2018 Honda CBR500R is now available in Honda dealers around the country in three new colours – Graphite Black, Grand Prix Red and Pearl Metalloid White/Grand Prix Red (Two‐tone)
The 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin DOHC engine, with the same piston-bore size as the CBR600RR, is thoroughly modern in design and produces a broad spread of power.
41mm adjustable pre-load front forks have external preload adjusters to allow for adaptation to different riding situations and results in a plush yet controlled ride. A sophisticated Pro-Link single-shock rear suspension offers nine-stage spring preload adjustability and further enhances rider comfort.
A large 16.7 litre fuel tank and strong fuel effeciency make the bike an ideal commuter, and dual LED headlights and taillight offer a sharp look and great visibility. As well as ABS as standard, the front brake lever features a five-step adjustment mechanism to suit rider preference.
The sporty riding position and lower seat height gives extra confidence when getting feet to the ground quickly or when at a stop. Available for an MLP of $7,699 and LAMS approved, the CBR500R is an ideal option for riders of all experience levels.
