Honda introduced updated 2017-model Pioneer 1000-3 and Pioneer-5
Honda have now introduced the updated Pioneer 1000 models for 2017, with the Pioneer 1000-3 and Pioneer 1000-5 available for an MLP of $23,499 and $25,499 respectively.
The Pioneer 1000-3 and Pioneer 1000-5 join the ‘Honda Work Range’ line up for 2017, featuring purpose built 999cc parallel twin engines, with beltless transmissions for optimum durability and low maintenance.
The ultra-versatile Dual Clutch Transmission System (DCT) offers the performance and flexibility of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic.
For 2017, the Pioneer 1000s now have a winch-ready wiring harness, a new memory function that retains the last transmission mode after engaging reverse and thicker seat foam for increased comfort.
They also adapt a new seat belt interlock system which prompts drivers to wear their seat belt when operating the machine and if the seatbelt is not engaged then the vehicles speed is limited.
With a big towing capacity, tilt adjustable electric power steering and reduced noise levels, both Pioneer 1000s are the premium choice in the SXS market.
The Pioneer 1000-5 also has auto-levelling rear suspension which automatically optimises rear ride height to suit its load, ensuring performance and comfort and Honda’s exclusive Quick Flip in bed seating design.
The two rear seats can quickly and easily fold away to make a flat bed and gives the option to go from a three-seater, to a four-seater, to a five-seater in seconds and without tools.
Honda’s Pioneer 1000s also feature a large LCD dash, powerful disc brakes and a parking lock system. Packed with Honda’s finest technology and built for Australia’s harsh landscape, the Pioneer 1000 is ready for the toughest work.
The Pioneer 1000-3 can be picked up for an MLP of $23,499 and the Pioneer 1000-5, for an MLP of $25,499. For more information about the Pioneer 1000 or the full range of side-by-side and ATV vehicles, visit Honda’s dedicated Work Range site: http://hondaworkrange.com.au.
