2021 Triumph Speedmaster
Triumph’s handsome laid-back Speedmaster scores new 47 mm Showa cartridge forks for 2021. A pre-load adjustable monoshock looks after the rear.
A different tune compared to the T 120 sees the Speedmaster make a little more torque at the expense of a couple of ponies. 106 Nm at 3850 rpm is the peak number, 90 per cent of which is sustained through to 5750 rpm, while its 77 horsepower peak arrives at 6100 rpm.
Ride-by-wire provides riding mode functionality with the traction control algorithms also changing with the riding mode. ABS is also provided along with a Brembo twin-disc front end.
Seat height is a very low 705 mm and the twin seat set-up promises to be more comfortable.
All Triumph motorcycles feature 16,000 km service intervals and the 2021 Bonneville range is expected to start arriving in Australia from the second quarter of 2021. Pricing is yet to be announced.Â
