Glenn Scott teams with Lorini Honda to pursue World Supersport Championship Title
Central Coast rider Glenn Scott, has signed an opportunity of a lifetime, to pilot a new CBR600RR with Team Lorini Italia Honda for the 2016 World Super Sport season. Scott faces an exciting new challenge for his second season in the Super Sport category as he takes on 30 of the world’s best riders across 13 incredible circuits.
“I am very excited to sign with Team Lorini as they have an extremely professional outfit and are a very hard working team. I have a very good feeling about my year ahead and this is a really positive step forward in my career.
“Lorini Honda have been racing and competing on the world stage for many years. They have a wealth of knowledge in the Super Sport class and I feel that this will be a massive boost for my 2016 campaign.
“I will be lucky enough to have a team mate this season which I think will be a great advantage as I have never had one in the past, this will help with the development of the bike and my riding throughout the season”.
The 2016 season will be a spectacular one for Glenn and the team, as his skills and knowledge of the 2015 circuits will be an extra advantage, as there are only 2 new circuits, Monza, Italy and Lausitzring, Germany in the 2016 calendar that he will have to learn, making it an easier transition for the 24 year old.
The 13 round championship will take Glenn to Asia, Qatar, throughout Europe and of course Australia, the first round being held at the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit at the end of February.
