Is this the 2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade?
Japanese magazine Young Machine seems to think so.
Us, we are not so sure, and generally don’t bother publishing clickbait mock up images of new models etc. as that’s all a bit tabloid for us, but thought it worth putting up for discussion.
We do know that there is a new Fireblade due for 2017.
Rumours suggest there will be a base model, priced pretty much along the lines of its competitors.
But then an up-spec cooking model has been widely rumoured, to be priced somewhere between the ultra high end RC213V-S, and the standard Fireblade, and expected to come with a V4 powerplant.
This image is a bit too fuzzy but that engine certainly looks as though it is of a v configuration.
As to whether it is a variant of a new upcoming 2017 Fireblade is the subject of conjecture. It could be based in reality, or it could be the product of a graphic artist that had way too much caffeine or perhaps other stimulants…
We will just have to wait and see…
