Honda Motorcycles has underlined its continuing commitment to industry-leading customer service, with the launch of the Honda Certified Technician Excellence Award.
Created to encourage and support the education and training of Honda’s motorcycle dealership-based technical staff, the new Award is a significant investment by the global motorcycle giant in personnel development.
Until 19 September 2014, Motorcycle technicians who have undergone Honda Certified Technical (HCT) training will be eligible to win the Award, which offers an exclusive prize.
Five finalists, one each from VIC/TAS, NSW/ACT, QLD, NT/SA and WA, will receive a trip to Melbourne for five days, to attend the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island.
Honda VIP hospitality on Gardner Straight, a tour of Pit Lane and an Official Dinner attended by finalists to celebrate their achievements, are all part of the package.
One Honda technician will then be crowned the 2014 National winner.
He or she will then take their choice of a new CBR650F road bike, or a CRF250X off-road bike or a TRX420TM1 four-wheel ATV, as the winner of the 2014 Honda Certified Excellence Award.
The Honda Dealer who employs the winning technician will also share in the success.
They’ll have the right to display the Honda Certified Technician Excellence Award logo at the dealership and in business communications, together with having a profile on the winning technician and the dealership published in a national motorcycle print publication.
Technicians who have participated in HCT training will be entered automatically into the Award program, where completing multiple HCT training courses, either in person or online, will increase the chances of becoming a finalist.
While the prizes on offer to Honda Motorcycle technicians are significant, the big winners will be Honda customers, with the knowledge that the commitment to service by Honda and its Dealers across the country is second-to-none.
