2021 Triumph Street Twin and Street Twin Gold Line

A 20 per cent power boost to the affordable Street Twin is a welcome improvement.

An even more comfortable bench seat and a host of new, refined details and finishes for 2021

A peak of 64 horsepower arrives at 7500 rpm, 1500 rpm higher than before, while the unchanged torque figure of 80 Nm peaks at 3800 rpm, 550 rpm higher than before. 80 per cent of the peak torque is available from as low as 2000 rpm.

New cast wheels, new bodywork and improved finish and detailing, with brushed aluminium headlamp brackets.

The red-line is increased by 500 rpm in what should prove a much more willing performer than before with lower inertia throughout the engine with a lighter crank and balancer shafts. Helping save weight is a thinner clutch cover and new magnesium cam cover.

Street Twin gets a more comfortable bench seat, new cast rims, bodywork and a host of tweaks that improve the finish throughout the machine.

Street Twin Gold Line

Joining the range is a new Limited Edition Gold Line Street Twin of which only 1000 will be produced. The Gold Line edition features extra bespoke detailing measures that help the machine stand out from the crowd.

Custom details are extended also to the Street Twin’s wheels, with machined spoke detailing and exquisite gold pin striping, as well as the new side panel which includes a custom Street Twin logo

All Triumph motorcycles feature 16,000 km service intervals and the 2021 Bonneville range is expected to start arriving in Australia from the second quarter of 2021. Pricing is yet to be announced.
