2015 ASC FX Provisional Calendar
2015 will see the Formula Xtreme derived Australasian Superbike Championship series, Australia’s largest and highest profile nationally televised motorcycle road racing championship series, expand to seven rounds across four states.
Terry O’Neill, “The 2015 provisional calendar has been carefully arranged so nearly all rounds are either six or seven weeks apart to give competitors the maximum time between rounds.
“Because of the success of this year’s format once again there will be the Saturday Australian FX-Superbike Championship series and the Sunday Australasian Superbike Championship series at each race meeting, giving riders two opportunities in two stand alone series on the same weekend to do well, while providing maximum time on the track actually racing.”

“ARTRP’s aim as always is to continue on as we have been providing the most affordable level playing field high profile series that caters for the largest group of mainstream competitors from D graders to factory level competitors who want to compete at a national level in this country.
“What has been achieved once again with the 2015 calendar is that it gives the best chance for over 80% of modern road race license holders the best opportunity to compete in an easy to get to and affordable national series.
“For 2015 there will be a new televised C and D grade level stand alone big bore class which will race on its own and take on the well known mantle of Formula Xtreme. Like the other classes the FX class will have multiple races each day; however the FX class will only do selected rounds, possibly either five or six. Stay tuned for the rules and which rounds the new Formula Xtreme class will compete at.
“This is the first of quite a number of announcements about the 2015 race season and in coming days and weeks there will be releases about the excellent ongoing free to air and pay television coverage of the series which will continue, the new C&D based Formula Xtreme class, transport packages, rules, sponsors, race formats, plus support for overseas and WA, NT and Tasmanian competitors and changes to the qualifying process for the Sunday races etc. There will also be an announcement regarding both pay tv and free to air television viewer numbers for our 2014 series year to date which will have the information required to assist teams and all competitors to approach potential sponsors for support for our 2015 season. So please stay tuned for more news about the exciting new race season to come in 2015.”
