Win A BMW R 1200 GS And Support Lifeline
BMW Motorrad, in partnership with Black Dog Ride and Lifeline, is giving riders the opportunity to win a 2015 R 1200 GS worth $28,850. The proceeds of the annual Black Dog Ride raffle will assist Lifeline in its vital work in preventing depression and suicide through the online Crisis Support Chat Service.
The Black Dog Ride began in 2009 with the aim of increasing awareness of mental health issues and prevention of suicide. For Black Dog Ride founder Steve Andrews, it has become a crusade to help prevent suicide and increase awareness of mental health issues.
“Remember, depression is an illness, not a weakness and effective treatments are available. It’s important to seek help early and with the right treatment most people recover,” said Andrews.
“To have BMW Motorrad’s support in this vital mission is fantastic. Having recently ridden the BMW R 1200 GS I was amazed by this outstanding machine, so for the lucky winner, I know it will be the ride of a lifetime,” said Andrews.
BMW Motorrad Australia general manager, Tony Sesto, is delighted to be aligned with this worthy cause.
“BMW Motorrad Australia is very happy to be supporting the Black Dog Ride raffle and Lifeline in their valuable work,” said Sesto.
There are only 2,000 tickets offered in raffle for the BMW R 1200 GS which can be purchased from http://blackdogride.gofundraise.com.au/ for $50 each.
Raffle closes 5pm (AEST) Thursday 13 August 2015.
