Jed Metcher changing teams
Australian racer Jed Metcher and PR Racing Kawasaki have decided to discontinue their relationship in the British Superbike Championship.Â
Despite mutual commitment and effort between PR Racing and Metcher, there was not enough progression for both parties to see a positive future.
Metcher thanked PR Racing for their dedication and loyalty throughout their working partnership.
Together with his management, Jed has sourced an opportunity to continue his career in the British Superbike Championship.
The 2011 European Superstock Champion will appear with Gearlink Kawasaki this weekend in Oulton Park for round nine, and will continue the remainder of season 2015 with the Gearlink Kawasaki squad.
The team has been consistently inside the top ten this season with riders Glenn Irwin, Luke Hedger and Ben Wilson in the Supersport category with the trio also scoring a number of podium results and a race win.
In the Superbike class the team has fielded a few different riders this season, most recently Barry Burrell and Michael Rutter, with a highest finish of 13th place.
