Aprilia confirm entry into 2010 Aussie Superbike Championship
The exquisite Aprilia RSV4 has been one of the most eagerly anticipated motorcycles to arrive in Australia for many years and as such there has been unprecedented demand for this outstanding machine with all stock virtually sold out before arrival.
The majority have been sold for the road but with the success of Max Biaggi in the Superbike World Championship it is understandable that there is intense interest to have the Aprilia RSV4 competing in the Australian Superbike and Superstock 1000cc Championships in 2010.
One of Australia’s most successful privateer teams has already taken up the offer. Trinder Brothers Racing has made the decision to take advantage of the Aprilia RSV4’s race winning capabilities to launch an assault on the Australian Superbike Championships in 2010.
“We are entering thrilling times with the return of the Australian Superbike Championships to appear at a number of the V8 Supercar rounds in 2010, and John Sample Automotive would like to take advantage of the added exposure,” explained JSA principal John Sample. “With the added exposure that will occur in front of large crowds with the involvement in the V8 Supercar support races JSA aim to see a number of the Aprilia RSV4’s competing at the front of the field battling for championship honours.”
John Sample Automotive (JSA) has a program of support available to riders competing in national and state based championship series. The support is dependent on the riders CV and the 2010 race program but could include special race pricing for the bike itself and also for homologated race parts that are available from Aprilia racing.
