Muc-Off Honda Racing
Australian Yarrive Konsky and his KMG are busy making final preparation for their tilt at the 2021 AMA Supercross Championship.
The all-new Muc-Off Honda Racing Team will be led by Supercross winner my multiple time Aussie Supercross Champion Justin Brayton. Lining up for his 19th straight season since turning pro in 2002, American Brayton is pleased to be with the Muc-Off Honda Racing Team on the all-new 2021 CRF450, working with SHOWA, Twisted Development and American Honda.
“I’ve had great success with this team in Australia and after only one season in America they have already proven to be competitive against other factory teams. American Honda have also been fantastic, everyone at Team HRC have been incredibly supportive during my transition.” Brayton said.
“The guys at Muc-Off have also been unbelievable, they have already shown their level of commitment and support. They are true professionals, their products are amazing and their media house is world class. I am excited to work with them to reach new markets and promote our team and the sport.” Brayton added.
Brayton’s expectations for the season are high but in check, as his years of experience have proven that the only thing you have control over in this sport, is the attitude you bring to the track.
“It’s important to keep a positive mindset and be focused on what you can control. I will do my best as I always do and aim to improve each weekend, no matter where we finish. Last year I won the opening heat race and I know that no one expected that. We have a great team, good partners and some amazing resources so I am eager to see where this season takes us.” Brayton finished.
The teams’ east coast 250 rider, Mitchell Oldenburg on bike #49, returns for a second year with the team. Fit, healthy and hungry for results, Oldenburg will race the 2021 Muc-Off Honda Racing CRF250R and has one goal in mind.
“This season I need to be on the podium every weekend. I know that it will not be easy but that is my goal and I believe we have the bike to achieve that. The whole Muc-Off Honda Racing Team and our partners in the 250 program – KYB, FMF, Twisted Development, JE Pistons, Renegade and Vortex, have ensured that we have a competitive bike so it’s on me to get the job done now.” Oldenburg said.
Muc-Off Honda Racing is part of the Konsky Motorsport Group (KMG.) KMG own and manage Honda Racing Australia’s factory off road team and together with the support of American Honda, are competing in the AMA Supercross Championship. Team owner Yarrive Konsky is proud of everyone’s efforts and support.
“This is my 19th year with Honda and I am so impressed with the program we have put together in America. The competition in America is the best in the world, it’s what you aspire to as a rider and team manager and owner. Lining up against 14 and 10 factory riders in the 450 and 250 class, respectively is true competition. I know we will place amongst them and I believe in our program and Honda’s race winning motorcycles.
