Area Manager required for growing BMW Motorrad Team.
BMW Motorrad enjoyed another record year in Australia in 2013, selling 2,198 units and growing overall sales by 3.5 per cent.
According to Tony Sesto, General Manager for BMW Motorrad Australia, this is an exciting result and well ahead of the performance of the general motor cycle industry in Australia during the year.
“The strong sales increase meant 2013 was a great year for BMW Motorrad – and we anticipate even greater growth in 2014.
“More Australians than ever before are choosing a BMW motorcycle and we expect this trend to continue as we introduce several exciting new and updated models throughout the year,” Sesto said.
The growth in sales of BMW Motorrad products has triggered increased dealership traffic for the brand. This has created the need for the company to expand its sales department and a position for a new area sales manager to support dealer business has been created. The position requirements call for an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced professional who will be responsible for assisting dealer networks throughout the New South Wales and Queensland regions.
The role will suit an individual with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in developing effective business relationships. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be a self starter who thrives on achieving results through working closely with Dealer Principals and Business Managers. Critical to the role is the ability to understand the importance of delivering value added service to build relationships and utilize business acumen to assist dealers reach desired business outcomes.
Pre-requisites for this position include an extensive knowledge of the retail, wholesale and after-sales environment of the Australian motorcycle market, as well as a full motorcycle license.
