Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41
Bridgestone have announced a new Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tyre, which is set to arrive in Australia in January 2019.
Bridgestone boast the new AX41 combines the brand’s trail/road know-how with Battlax block placement technology to provide ideal performance, particularly off road, while still delivering durability and stability.
Bridgestone are promising the new Adventurecross AX41 will offer a new standard of trail/off-road performance thanks to a number of technical improvements.
The AX41 includes a high cross sectional area, with small pitch length, offering 30 per cent more cross sectional area than the A41, while allowing more blocks with greater diamater across the tyre.
An increase to the compound rigidity also helps balance durability and off-road performance, alongside Bridgestone’s ‘Anti-Irregular Wear Technology’ which reduces heel and toe wear on the trailing block edge. The new block profile counters the deformation which leads to this wear, particularly under braking forces.
The Bridgestone Battlax AX41 offers significantly more off-road orientated performance than the A41, while still maintaining a level of dry grip and stability as well as wet grip.
The Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 will be available in the following sizes from January 2019:
