Bryan Staring on where to from here for season 2014
“After the recent announcement that the Russian Rivamoto Supersport team and I will no longer continue together, many have asked in regard to my plans for the 2014 season. Despite what seems a somewhat rejuvenated domestic scene in Australia I have decided not to stay home and contest for the local honours, preferring to return to Europe in hope of keeping my international career alive.
“I’m not sitting in an ideal position at the moment but I have to take the positives from the situation. I’m a complete free agent and have the ability to fit in anywhere in any championship. I’m headed back to Europe where I’ll show my face at the next round of the World Superbike Championship and be sure the teams know I’m available and very keen to race and continue my career. I’m completely focussed on achieving the goals I set for the world championship.
“After a strong showing in the World Superstock Championship in 2012 winning races and leading the most laps over the course of the season, I had nothing less than a disaster year in MotoGP in 2013. The harsh reality of the 2013 season couldn’t have hit any harder this summer.
“Today I will return to my base in Varese Italy, continue training and be ready for the first opportunity that presents itself.
“Thanks for all of my personal sponsors and support crew for making this possible”.
Bryan.
