Today we feature another one of Cliff Randall’s exotic creations.
He dubs this his, ‘Muzzy Kawasaki ZX1270R’.
As the name gives away, the ZX-12R has been boosted by the addition of a 1,270cc big bore kit from Muzzy Performance.  Engine assembly was handled by Competition Systems.
Much time was invested by Cliff in dialling in his Power Commander 3 to properly handle all the modifications. He has now shared his fuel maps with over a dozen other owners of ZX-12Rs which also have had the 1,270cc kit installed. A high flow fuel pump ensures fuel is always kept up to the injectors.
A Muzzy steering damper helps keep the show tracking straight and combines with an Ohlins shock and RaceTech modified forks, which have been treated to a gold nitriding.
Clutch mods were carried out by Cliff and help to deliver the 200+ rear wheel horsepower through to an 18-tooth front sprocket, and 50-tooth rear. Torque is equally impressive, with over 112 ft/lbs available at the wheel.
Muzzy Titanium headers combine with a black anodized aluminium muffler. Plenty of chroming and polishing also graces the lowered Kawasaki.
Weighing in at 227 kilograms wet this is one very special ZX-12R Kawasaki.
