Jett Lawrence out of Junior World MX Team
2014 65cc World Champion Jett Lawrence, the youngest ever rider to take that mantle, and current 85 Australian Champion, will not take his place with Team Australia at the FIM World Junior Motocross Championships next month.
Team Australia will head to Orlyonok, Russia, early next month but without Jett Lawrence, as visa issues have left the youngster with no choice but to withdraw from the team.
As a result, 85cc reserve rider Dante Hyam is expected to be called up into the 85cc team alongside Cody Chittick.
The 125cc representatives Caleb Grothues and Cody Dyce remain unchanged.
Team Australia riders will compete across two classes (125cc and 85cc), under the guidance of Team Manager Glenn Macdonald, who is now in his fourth year in the position.
