Interview conducted with John McGuinness after Island Classic International Challenge Race Two
“I feel like I should be a little bit more competitive. It’s easy to sit here and make excuses, but in the second race the bike misfired the whole race. We just found the plug cap broken, but what do you do, you just keep soldiering on.Â
“But ahh…the boys are sharp and are real fast and I think around the top four through to seventh are all pretty close. Similar sort of pace.
“I suppose it’s a team challenge, as a team we are doing alright.
“Obviously I want a bit more from myself, I can’t find it yet but tomorrows another day.
“I just hope the fans are enjoying the show. We’re a long way from home.
“But probably a little disappointed with how it’s gone, but as you say, tomorrow’s another day.
