KTM 1090 Adventure R – Back to hard core for KTM
Due to Arrive in Australia around May, 2017, KTM’s new 1090 Adventure R will be seen by many as the Austrian companies spiritual successor to the 950/990 Adventure models so heralded amongst off-road adventure aficionados. There willl also be a more road oriented version of the 1090 Adventure with alloy rims and more road sized rubber.
At 125 hp (92 kW), the new KTM 1090 Adventure R has long stroked, fully adjustable suspension components by WP Suspension, laced wheels in the enduro dimensions of 18 and 21 inches, and a chassis fully supporting unrestrained offroad riding.
Roads may end, but the riding fun on the “R” goes on – thanks to multi-mode ABS, traction control and four KTM ride modes. It can be so easy to escape the daily grind.
