And aside from the well-known landmarks, are the tucked away surprise tracks, with KTM having enlisted some local experts to ensure KTM riders get a truly unique Tasmania experience.
The route has been set to offer a variety of options for riders, the Main Route will cater for riders who want more relaxed and less technically challenging tracks than have been featured in previous years. The Breakout options will have some serious riding, with the first ever 4 Chili options for the truly brave.
The Rallye will kick off at Cradle Mountain, before heading down to Strahan, Hobart, Swansea and St Helens before finishing in Launceston, meaning riders have easy access back to the Ferry or the airport for transport home.
With diverse terrain and a unique atmosphere the 2019 KTM Australia Adventure Rallye is sure to offer a great experience to the brand’s Orange Adventure Riders!
Rosie Lalonde – KTM Rallye Event Coordinator
“Backing up from the Outback Run in 2018 was always going to be a challenge. Where would we go? So we decided to replace the red dirt, open skies and pure unbridled adventure of the Outback with the green, lush, twisty turns of Tasmania. You couldn’t get more different! We’ve gone from one extreme to the other, from the North of Australia to the South, with another big logistics operation ahead of us, but we can’t wait to explore this amazing Island with our Rallye riders. When choosing the location, it was made easy when Nick Selleck simply stated – Tasmania has the best adventure riding I’ve ever done!”
Registrations will open to the public at 6.00pm AEDT on Thursday November 1st 2018. Those wishing to get Dealer Priority Registration information need to contact their local authorised KTM Australia Dealership.
