Camier stable and conscious but with serious injuries
In an incident during Race 1 at the Aragón WorldSBK round, Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team rider Leon Camier was injured.
Leon was attended to by Clinica Mobile staff at MotorLand Aragón circuit and afterwards was sent to Alcañiz Hospital for further assessment.
Following the hospital’s prognosis, the Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team can confirm he will not participate in Race 2 of the Aragón WorldSBK round and provide the following update on Leon’s condition.
“Leon has been diagnosed with a closed chest injury: a fracture of the posterior ribs 9, 10 and 11 on his left side with a lung contusion. His condition is stable.
“Leon is conscious and in good spirits and the team would like to thank all his fans and supporters for their well wishes.”
