The Bend Motorsports park has been 14 months in the making and will host round three of the 2018 YMF ASBK Championship on the weekend of 19-22 of April. This week ASBK team and riders got to test at this brand new motorsport facility, their first chance to get to grips with the challenging layout.

The Bend Motorsports Park has multiple circuit configurations though ASBK riders have conducted their testing on the 4.95km International layout.

Day one saw Troy Herfoss top the time sheets with a 1m55.920. As riders got to grips with the vast 18-turn configuration of the wonderful new circuit and the teams started to dial in their suspension settings times dropped markedly.

After some hotly contested swapping of fastest laps in the final session it was eventually Wayne Maxwell that set the inaugural lap record of 1:54.020.
