It appears that for the first time ever Australian MotoGP enthusiasts are set to be able to watch all MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 practice and qualifying sessions live on pay television.
We believe Foxtel channel, ‘Speed TV Australia’, has managed to pull together a last minute deal to broadcast all sessions from Qatar this weekend and for the remainder of season 2014.
Foxtel and Speed TV Australia are quiet on this issue at the moment, presumably for contractual issues as the final details are nutted out between various parties, thus no official news of the live broadcasts have been sent out via their social media channels.
A 2am broadcast time for tomorrow morning, which coincides with the opening practice session for Moto3 in Qatar, is already showing on some Foxtel subscribers Electronic Program Guides and as other subscribers decoder boxes update their EPG the changes will also become apparent.
This has happened so quickly that it is likely that even if your ring Foxtel to enquire about this issue they will not have any information to hand on the live airing of MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3.
Keep an eye on your EPG this evening and either set your alarm, or your recorder to catch all the action from Qatar.
