Ixon Pro Continental Glove
$169.95 RRP AUD – $199.90 RRP NZD
We all know that flying down the road at high speed isn’t always a fun experience during winter. The worst part about it isn’t just the frozen tears and runny nose you struggle to wipe inside your helmet. It’s also trying to use fingers so numb you’re not 100 per cent sure if you’re even rolling the throttle, pulling the clutch, and braking or not.
Fortunately, Ixon have provided the solution – the 2019 winter gloves range! Not only are they warm, breathable and waterproof, they’re also CE approved. This means you can be assured you are wearing the highest quality glove with maximum safety and protection.
The newest editions to the 2019 range include the Pro Continental glove for the avid adventurer; the Pro Kent and Pro Russel gloves for urban riders; and the Pro Russel and Pro Rescue gloves for the Ladies. Something that makes Ixon gloves particularly desirable is Primaloft One, which is known for its proficiency in thermal performance. Ixon have really taken the time to understand what gloves will keep you warm in winter!
Here’s a break down of one of Ixon’s best winter gloves on the market – the Ixon Pro Continental, which is available for $169.95 RRP in Australia, or $199.90 RRP in New Zealand.
The Ixon Pro Continental features CE armour, with a knuckle protector on the backhand, as well as a slider on the bottom of the palm, and a reinforced sidewall. Construction of the backhand is goat leather and a softshell, while the palm includes goat leather and printed synthetic suede, with a polyester lining and Primaloft One 133g/4.7oz insulation.
Ensuring comfort is a waterproof and breathable integrated membrane, with warm Primaloft One lining. The inner lining is very soft micropolar, for a comfortable feel.
A long cuff with tightening strap and elasticated wrist with tightening strap ensure a good tight fit, while there’s a rain wiper on index which makes for easy visor clearing in poor weather. The index finger is compatible with touch screens.
