Harley-Davidson has announced its new Boom!™ Audio Sound System range, to offer Touring riders the option of a custom entertainment system that has never been so rewarding.
As featured in the 2014 Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories catalogue, the newly-stylised Boom! Audio range effectively allows Harley-Davidson customers to completely customise their Touring experience – elevating ‘infotainment’ specifications to new heights in varying stages.
Starting with core component Batwing Fairing Speakers, Harley-Davidson Touring family riders can also add premium amplifiers, supplementary saddlebag speakers and speaker expansion packs – as well as other best-quality integrated audio components – to create a bespoke, all-in-one audio centre scaled to their individual needs.
Developed in conjunction with the Harley-Davidson Project RUSHMORE initiative, the new Boom! Audio range is designed specifically for the brand’s 2014 Touring family models, offering the ultimate in custom performance straight out of the showroom. A full range of Boom! Audio accessories remains available for Harley-Davidson Touring models from 2006-2013.

- Boom! Box 6.5GT Radio Kit
This fully-integrated 6.5inch display system with joystick and glove-friendly touchscreen hand controls – as well as hands-free voice activation – offers GPS, MP3 and iPod interfaces, Bluetooth pairing and AM/FM radio with built-in weather and service alerts.
With cleaner, crisper sounds and amplified automatic adjustable settings which alter volume, bass and treble levels to compensate for increased and decreased speed levels, the Boom! Box 6.5GT offers plug-and-play installation designed with leading technology to upgrade Street Glide and Electra Glide models to Ultra Limited specifications. - High Performance Speakers – 6.5”
Designed to maximise audio clarity and amp the volume by an additional 25%, the full range, two- way Batwing Fairing Speakers replace stock components to feature high strength, larger cones for improved low and mid frequencies and soft dome 1” tweeters for improved high frequencies. Composite frame and high performance magnet offer enhanced power-handling capabilities. - Boom! Bagger Amp & Speaker Kits
Separately available as speaker and amplifier kits, Boom! Bagger accessories include 6.5inch fairing speakers and 4-channel fairing-mounted amplifiers for two and four speaker-equipped models, as well as customers wanting to upgrade from two to four speakers. - Fairing Lower Speakers
Upgraded 6.5” waterproof full range sound-optimised speakers feature suspended 1” soft dome tweeters that provide directionally boosted acoustics.
Fitting straight into Electra Glide with stock fairing lowers or colour-matched lowers for the Street Glide, also available from the Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories catalogue. - Saddlebag Speakers
Comprehensively tested to ensure durability in the harshest of riding conditions, these speakers fit seamlessly within specially designed replacement saddlebag lids (sold separately either primed or colour-matched) and are covered by stylish perforated metal speaker grills.
With TourPak and High Performance Speaker Kits, Bass Boost Ports and Amp kits, enhanced Hidden Antenna and iPod relocation options, Boom! Audio offers riders a completely customisable stereo system with plug-and-play versatility. Set up using the Digitial Technician™ by trained technicians at an Authorised Harley-Davidson Dealer ensures riders can get the ultimate from their system and an ability to up performance to 300W from eight speakers – which intermix with bike- to-bike communication and GPS systems to provide an unparalleled audio solution.
